I studied Digital Forensics at SUNY Albany, and DJing turned out to be the perfect blend of my two passions: music and technology.

Where it started
I got my start back in 5th grade, volunteering to mix sound for my elementary school's variety show. That sparked something. Through middle and high school I kept at it, mixing audio for theater productions and band concerts.
Why I started DJing
My friend Will and I went to every school dance, and the DJs kept falling short. They didn't mix, didn't read the room, and their sound was underpowered.
We were convinced we could do better. So I taught myself to mix from scratch on my laptop, with nothing but a keyboard and mouse.
How NWN got its name
The question I always get: what does NWN stand for? In 9th grade English, Will pitched me a crazy idea. Start a DJ business, fix everything we hated about the DJs we'd seen, and give people the parties we never got.
I thought he was nuts. That aged well. We brought in our friend Noah, and the three initials became NWN. We pooled our money and gear and pulled off our first Sweet Sixteen in April 2017.
Going it alone
Noah stepped away for other ventures, and Will moved to Nashville for college to study audio engineering. He now runs Nashville Live Sound. I kept NWN going.
Where we are now
Since COVID, NWN has grown faster than I ever imagined. I DJ 70+ events a year: schools and Sweet 16s (my favorites), weddings and nightclubs.
In high school I dreamed of touring the 518, hitting as many school dances as I could. In 2025 we did 13 proms alone, so I brought on DJs who share my love for high-energy events. I still eat those words of doubt I said to Will.

He brought the energy all night
To say that Nick was one of the best parts of our wedding would be an understatement. He brought the energy ALL. NIGHT. His communication was amazing from the day of our discovery call until the day of the wedding, and he helped us with everything from processional songs to must-plays on the dance floor. The one thing we wanted was energy on the dance floor, and Nick was the reason it was popping all night.
Informative and energizing
Right from the start of our Junior Prom, Nick was both informative and energizing, leading to the post-dinner dancing. Once dancing started, our students’ excitement only increased as the night went on. Nick does an outstanding job engaging with students while keeping them on the dance floor all night.
Our entire grade on the floor
Nick is a blast. He kept our entire grade on the dance floor for hours non-stop. Everyone was up and the music was great. From quality to professionalism, they have it all. Would definitely recommend!!
Smooth from start to finish
Nick did an absolutely incredible job DJing our wedding! The music selection was perfect, the transitions were so smooth and the order of tracks flowed really well all night. Nick is such a joy to be around and his positive energy is contagious. It seriously couldn’t have been any better.
350 students, one dance floor
Nick was incredible! He had our students dancing all night long, he mixed up the songs, encouraged different dance moves, and made our kids so happy. It was clear he knows how to keep 350 high school students on that dance floor!
Dancing until the last song
When Nick played our friends' wedding last summer, we knew we had to have him as our DJ when we got married! Nick was one of the first vendors we hired, and we are so glad we did. He was extremely professional, responsive, and accommodating of all our ideas. He showed up multiple hours early to make sure everything was set up and working properly, and the dance floor was absolutely incredible. He kept us dancing until the last song! We could not recommend Nick more highly. You will be happy you booked him!
In tune with the crowd
Highly recommend Nick for any event! He was phenomenal at our son's wedding last weekend. Everything from beautiful ceremony music to cocktail hour and all night dancing. He really is in tune with the crowd and what the couple has in mind for the evening. Very organized, easy to work with, and professional across the board. Thank you so much Nick!
A full dance floor all night
We are so grateful to Nick and the energy he brought to our dance floor! Every request we made was met and he helped us incorporate all the personal touches we had hoped for to make the night special. We had a full dance floor all night long and everyone was having the best time! Nick did a great job keeping the energy high, taking guest requests, and giving us exactly the night we had hoped for!
The best DJ in the Albany area
Nick has to be the best DJ in the Albany area! We planned our wedding in Latham from out of state and were basically choosing blind, turns out Nick was phenomenal! Our guests danced and smiled the entire time. One of the most interactive DJ events I've ever been to. Would recommend Nick to anyone who wants to level up their next event!
The perfect balance
NWN were great, they met with us multiple times to gauge our music preferences and helped organize our reception. Nick kept the party going during our 7-hour reception with awesome transitions and no lull on the dance floor, and seamlessly worked in special requests. His personality wasn't over-the-top or dominating, a perfect balance. If we could do our wedding over again, we'd definitely choose NWN!
Nailed everything
Nick was the DJ for our wedding and he absolutely nailed everything and was able to think quickly. He brought important equipment that made our day special and found all of our requested music. Nick was flexible, fun and punctual, I would recommend him and his company for weddings and any other entertainment services.
