More than a dance. An experience.
NWN Entertainment is a school dance DJ serving Albany, NY schools. A great DJ does more than play music. We help promote your event, get students hyped, and make the night one they will not stop talking about.
That reputation matters. A dance students love sells more tickets and raises more for your school, year after year. We have 8+ years of doing exactly that across the Albany Capital District.
We help sell tickets
We share proven promotion ideas, from lunch jams to pep-rally sets, to build hype before the doors open.
Clean & appropriate
Radio-clean edits and a do-not-play list, so the music is always right for your school.
Sound built for gyms
Powerful, clear audio designed for big rooms and big crowds, not a scaled-down wedding rig.
A light show that pops
A full intelligent RGB light show that transforms your gym or hall and looks great on camera.
Rocking dances across the Albany area
We DJ homecomings, formals and mixers for high schools, middle schools and colleges throughout the Albany area.
What local clients say
Nick was incredible. He had our students dancing all night, mixed up the songs and made our kids so happy. He clearly knows how to keep 350 high school students on that dance floor.
He had the kids dancing nonstop for 2+ hours and his setup and lighting added an extra touch to our space. Incredibly professional and so easy to work with. I would recommend him to anyone.
Nick is a blast. He kept our entire grade on the dance floor for hours non-stop. Everyone was up and the music was great. From quality to professionalism, they have it all. Would definitely recommend!!
Nick is phenomenal. I don’t know how he does it, but he gets all the kids on the dance floor. They had a blast!
Right from the start of our Junior Prom, Nick was both informative and energizing, leading to the post-dinner dancing. Once dancing started, our students’ excitement only increased as the night went on. Nick does an outstanding job engaging with students while keeping them on the dance floor all night.

Questions advisors and students ask us
We work with schools, class advisors and student councils all year long. Here are answers to the questions we hear most when planning a prom, homecoming or school dance.
When do you arrive for school events?
For large school events like proms and homecomings we arrive two to three hours early, so sound and lighting are fully set up and tested before students walk in.
Do you play school-appropriate music?
Yes. We play clean, school-appropriate versions and keep the music fun and current, while respecting any guidelines your school or advisors give us.
Can students request songs?
Yes. Students can submit requests ahead of time through our online portal, and we take appropriate requests at the booth during the event.
What do you need from the venue or school?
Typically two dedicated power circuits for large dances and a six-foot table. We coordinate load-in and timing directly with your venue and advisors.
Do you provide lighting?
Every school event includes a full LED light show synced to the music, and we offer upgraded lighting packages for proms and bigger events.
How do we book our school?
Use the Request Information button with your date, venue and expected attendance. We confirm availability and send options that fit your budget.
